Call for Papers - Scientific Line
The International Forging Congress (IFC 2025) invites researchers, scientists, and R&D industry professionals to contribute to the scientific presentation line of the congress by submitting abstracts for oral or poster presentations concerning ground-breaking scientific achievements in the field of forging.
Submission Guidelines for Scientific Line:
- Abstracts must be submitted by March 20, 2025 to ifc@euroforge.org using the templates provided on the subpages and state the headline topic.
- Abstracts should be written in English (maximum 400 words).
- Submissions must include a brief biography (maximum 150 words) of the speaker, highlighting his/her expertise and professional background.
- Indicate whether the submission is intended for an oral or poster presentation. Please note that oral presentation slots are limited.
- Presentations shall not include any advertising of products or services.
- Only original presentations (not published previously) will be accepted.
- Time slot per presentation: Approx. 40 minutes (shorter formats available upon request).
Themes: We encourage submissions that address one of the following key topics:
- New Materials in Forging:
Innovations in materials and alloys that enhance forging processes. - Digitalization and AI in Forging:
Applications of smart technologies, AI, and Industry 4.0 in the forging sector. - Innovations in Forging:
Cutting-edge techniques and processes revolutionising the forging industry. - Lubrication in Forging:
Advances in lubrication technologies and their impact on forging efficiency and sustainability.
